RTC is marking 15 years of providing safe transportation services to help celebrate St. Patrick’s Day responsibly with the FREE Safe RIDE program. Scheduled RTC transit services will be free on Saturday, March 17 from 4pm until 2am on Sunday March 18. Did you Know: The Lockwood Landfill creates green energy from landfill gas? Lockwood powers two CAT 3520 engines, generating approximately 3.2 megawatts of electricity. The “green” electricity goes directly into the existing NV Energy electrical grid. That’s enough electricity to power approximately 2,000 homes annually.
