Our second year of Career Quest ended abruptly with COVID-19 shutting down schools and business, but we still had a very successful year!  We were on target to engage with 1476 students from 39 different classrooms, but still made an enormous impact on 835 students from 23 classrooms. Currently, we are putting a lot of our attention on adding more local business for students to explore and learn from. We are also very focused on implementing

Envirolution is excited to receive a donation from Apple to help develop the Project ReCharge curriculum for elementary school teachers. This partnership and commitment towards educating our future generation are paving the way to a more sustainable world! Thank you, Apple! We are also excited to scale up and expand Project ReCharge in Northern Nevada with support from the Nevada STEM Networks.  This grant will help purchase the essential classroom materials necessary for teachers to implement the hands-on lessons

Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day 2020

In celebration of the national event “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day,” Envirolution & Tesla welcomed over 400 girls at 11 sites in 5 states for a day filled with hands-on activities, inspiring presentations from female leaders and behind the scenes tours. Community Cleanup at Pickett Park on September 15

Volunteer for the Pickett Park cleanup this Saturday, September 15, between 10am and 12pm at 250 Kirman off Mill and Ryland. Envirolution will provide all the cleanup gear, lemonade and snacks. Envirolution performs quarterly cleanups of Pickett Park as part of KTMB’s Adopt-a-Park Program. UNR students can receive volunteer credit by signing up on GivePulse

Bring your families and join Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB) at the Discovery for an evening Waste Warriors presentation on Wednesday, September 12 from 6:00-6:45pm and a full day of Waste Warriors activities and science demos led by Discovery educators on Saturday, September 15. Waste Management will have a truck in the Discovery parking lot for visitors to inspect on Saturday as well!
