We partnered with Truckee Meadow’s Parks Foundation (TMPF) for their Sustainability Week of their Student Stewards Summer Camp. This STEM based camp was a nine week outdoor camp, where we turned the local parks into learning laboratories. July 9th, Envirolution helped co-host our first live webinar with the Nevada Department of Wildlife! You Are What You Eat, discussed what food webs and trophic levels are, showed how energy moves through food webs, and made connections to backyard food webs in Northern Nevada and how people are influencing them. The webinar was a fun experience and is uploaded HERE. We hope to continue collaborating with NDOW in the future with more webinars!

Envirolution’s program, Project ReCharge has always made it a priority to provide quality STEAM education and materials, free of cost, to teachers and students. During this time, many school districts involved with Envirolution’s Project ReCharge have taken different measures in response to COVID 19 when it comes to distance learning. For this reason, it is more important than ever to support our local teachers and educators. This #GivingTuesdayNow please consider giving a financial donation that will go towards replacement

Our second year of Career Quest ended abruptly with COVID-19 shutting down schools and business, but we still had a very successful year!  We were on target to engage with 1476 students from 39 different classrooms, but still made an enormous impact on 835 students from 23 classrooms. Currently, we are putting a lot of our attention on adding more local business for students to explore and learn from. We are also very focused on implementing

Thank you, Apple! We are also excited to scale up and expand Project ReCharge in Northern Nevada with support from the Nevada STEM Networks.  This grant will help purchase the essential classroom materials necessary for teachers to implement the hands-on lessons
