National Energy Efficiency Day

On October 7th, in support of National Energy Efficiency Day Envirolution, SWEEP, NV Energy, and the Governor’s Office of Energy recognized the efforts of robotics students from Dayton Intermediate in Lyon County.  Last year these students completed a Project ReCharge LED school retrofit proposal, which was funded by Envirolution and our partners.  Once installed, the school will start saving close to $9,000/yr in energy costs. Check out the news clip from the event.

Volunteering Park Clean Up

admin Comments are off
Just before the first snowfall in Reno, Envirolution was able to host another successful Pickett Park Cleanup on Saturday, November 7th.  We had a great turnout with 15 volunteers that helped the Envirolution staff keep Pickett Park clean. Everyone followed the proper safety protocols and had a great time despite the windy weather.  We collected close to 36 pounds worth of trash and two huge jars of cigarette butts.  Our next one will be in March of 2021,
