On Thursday, February 24th we welcomed 42 students from Carson City School District to the

We were also honored to have 15 engineers and professionals attend throughout the day from 8 businesses. They shared their career path with the students and engaged in the hands-on activities, allowing the students to envision a career in engineering.

Saturday, February 26th – Event in Partnership with Tesla
2022 marked our 5th year of partnership with Tesla on this incredible event! We welcomed over 1,400 students from across 500 schools and 38 States, with even a few from Canada and Mexico! Participants received one-of-a-kind virtual tours of the Fremont, Nevada, and Buffalo Gigafactories while hearing inspiring messages from Women at Tesla. 500 students received materials to participate in creating a simple motor, becoming some of the youngest electrical engineering interns.If you participated in the event, please complete the Post survey for just the virtual event & Post survey for the virtual event and hands-on activity

- Career Quest – Is a community collaborative program that connects Nevada businesses to their future workforce by exploring STEAM and sustainability career opportunities. Students engage in hands-on activities, behind the scene industry tours, and presentations that demonstrate and introduce them to the benefits of STEAM education and pursuing a career in a STEAM field.
- Project ReCharge – Project ReCharge is a hands-on, project-based Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) curriculum and training program that engages students, teachers, and community professionals. This interactive sustainability and energy education program provides valuable professional learning and classroom resources to teachers, who then empower 4th-12th grade students to become sustainability detectives focused on saving their home, school, and community money through energy efficiency and sustainability projects.
