Virtual Tours for 2020-2021

We’ve gone virtual! After working with Tesla for many months, we’ve created a fun, interactive and educational virtual Career Quest! During the two day virtual program, students will be able to learn about the Tesla Gigafactory NV through virtual tours and employee led presentations. Students will also have the opportunity to engage in a hands-on simple motor activity where they will be able to experience and learn about the engineering design process.

Girl Scout STEAM Exploration 2021

We are happy to announce our partnership with the Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada!

During this event, girls will have an opportunity to explore Tesla’s history, mission and vision for the future. They will also engage in a hands-on STEAM activity and investigate the engineering design process.

The event fee is $10 and each participant will receive a special fun patch along with their material kits!

Check out the registration link for dates and times.
**We must have a minimum of 10 Cadettes register in order to run the event, everything is more fun with friends!

Tours to Tesla Gigafactory 1

Envirolution is proud to partner with Tesla to facilitate school tours to Gigafactory NV, located right here in the Reno/Sparks area. Tesla provides the venue and facilitates the guided tour that students receive. Envirolution handles the logistics of getting students to and from the Gigafactory, in addition to providing them with a hands-on STEAM lesson during their visit. Tesla volunteers deserve special recognition — they are actual employees that donate their time to this program! They deliver a short presentation to students about who they are, what they do, and why choosing a STEAM career contributes to our collective goal of creating a sustainable future.

Since spring of 2019, 1,464 students have toured the factory with over 30 classrooms!
