Career Quest is an engaging and collaborative program that connects Nevada businesses to their future workforce by exploring workplace Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) and sustainability career opportunities. Through engaging presentations, industry tours, and hands-on activities, students are introduced to the benefits of STEAM education and local career opportunities available to them. Career Quest provides STEAM career development for students by connecting learned STEAM concepts with real-world business applications and has a real impact on student perceptions of career possibilities while also making it easy for businesses to engage with their future workforce.

STEAM Guest Speakers
Career Quest connects students to STEAM community professionals to hear firsthand the benefits of STEAM education and to learn about diverse educational pathways and local job opportunities available to them.
We currently have in-person and virtual opportunities for our STEAM guest speakers. We provide all guest speakers with virtual development workshops to create presentations that encourage student participation.
Girl Scouts STEAM Exploration
We are happy to announce our partnership with the Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada!
We are providing a virtual event for Girl Scout Cadettes in Northern Nevada to explore STEAM careers. Cadettes explore Tesla’s history, mission, and vision for the future. They will also have the opportunity to engage in a hands-on STEAM activity while investigating the engineering design process.
The event fee is $10 and each participant will receive a special fun patch along with their material kits!
