We partnered with Truckee Meadow’s Parks Foundation (TMPF) for their Sustainability Week of their Student Stewards Summer Camp. This STEM based camp was a nine week outdoor camp, where we turned the local parks into learning laboratories. During the week of July 6th-10th our AmeriCorps, Delanie, and Programs Coordinator, Aimee, joined them in the discussion of STEM and sustainability. Aimee and Delanie ran many of Envirolution’s engaging, hands-on activities, including a waste audit, circuit activity & energy bike demo. We were thrilled to work with our friends and partners at TMPF and loved being able to work with the student campers, all while practicing social distancing.
