As part of Envirolution’s Sustainability Tour held March 26 to 30 during the Washoe County School District Spring Break, students will visit Tesla’s Gigafactory 1, where lithium ion batteries, Tesla Model 3 battery packs and Tesla Energy Products are developed and manufactured. They will have the opportunity to learn about sustainable design and Tesla’s overall mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
