Energy Bike Engineer Volunteer Position

Most students never get a chance to make their own electricity and take for granted how easy it is to flip on a switch. By building a bicycle generator you enable students to pedal their way to power while also solidifying energy concepts. In an effort to build capacity and offer energy efficiency educational opportunities to teachers, students, and community members in Washoe County, the Energy Bike Engineer will be responsible for updating and refining our Energy Bike system, allowing community members to produce their own electricity and learn about energy concepts in the process.
