 In the past 6 weeks, Envirolution has been busy! Our park cleanup on March 12th was a great success. Over 50 members from the community participated in picking trash and trimming invasive willows at Teglia’s Paradise Park. We were able to pick up about 341 lbs of trash! This was the first of our quarterly park cleanups. The Northern Nevada Science and Technology Festival (NNSTF) is a week-long event from April 26-30, 2022, celebrating science and innovation throughout Northern Nevada. The festival will inspire and connect our community with the power of science and technology through hands-on school programs and a series of FREE, family-friendly events hosted by different organizations and businesses. You can view and register for all the free events here. This year marks the 52nd anniversary of this environmental movement.  It was started by sustainability leaders and students in Philadelphia in 1970 and has continued to inspire communities across the world to live a more sustainable life. Envirolution is thrilled to be participating at the Reno Earth Day on April 24th, 2022 from 11am – 5pm at Idlewild Park. Envirolution had the opportunity to present for the second time at the Green Schools National Conference and Expo in Portland Oregon, March 2-4th.
