Program EDGE will be piloting its new E-Power Workshop April 3rd – 7th, 2023. The E-Power Workshop Pilot is a five-day Carson City School District Spring Break workshop in which two E-Power Teams comprised of girls, genderqueer, and non-binary students become Energy Bike Experts by building an Energy Bike from scratch. Participants will work alongside staff and local career professionals while they learn how to teach engaging energy lessons to bring back to their school and community. Program and Events Coordinator Sam Arroyo is a recent college graduate with his degree in Educational Studies and is excited to apply what he’s learned to his new role at Envirolution. Raised in Reno, Sam loves all things athletics. He spent much of his free time running through nature and exploring the desert areas near his home. He worked in STEAM roles while pursuing his degree, working full-time at Tesla, Nuro, and Waymo.
