Envirolution is excited to invite you to our Sustainability Expedition fromMonday, April 11th – Friday, April 15th, during Carson City School Districts’ spring break. It is a week-long program providing students with the opportunity to explore Northern Nevada businesses and organizations and introduce them to exciting STEAM careers, environmentally friendly practices, and the local sustainability movement. We are partnering with businesses from different sectors of renewable energy, sustainability, and urban agriculture. RTC is marking 15 years of providing safe transportation services to help celebrate St. Patrick’s Day responsibly with the FREE Safe RIDE program. Scheduled RTC transit services will be free on Saturday, March 17 from 4pm until 2am on Sunday March 18. Middle- and high-school students will ride and electric bus from RTC’s fleet for 2 days and learn about RTC’s many sustainability and community practices during Envirolution’s Sustainability Tour held during the Washoe County School District Spring Break, March 26 – 30.
