Our second year of Career Quest ended abruptly with COVID-19 shutting down schools and business, but we still had a very successful year!  We were on target to engage with 1476 students from 39 different classrooms, but still made an enormous impact on 835 students from 23 classrooms. Currently, we are putting a lot of our attention on adding more local business for students to explore and learn from. Envirolution is excited to receive a donation from Apple to help develop the Project ReCharge curriculum for elementary school teachers. This partnership and commitment towards educating our future generation are paving the way to a more sustainable world! Envirolution had the opportunity to present for the second time at the Green Schools National Conference and Expo in Portland Oregon, March 2-4th. In celebration of the national event “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day,” Envirolution & Tesla welcomed over 400 girls at 11 sites in 5 states for a day filled with hands-on activities, inspiring presentations from female leaders and behind the scenes tours. Volunteer for the Pickett Park cleanup this Saturday, September 15, between 10am and 12pm at 250 Kirman off Mill and Ryland. Envirolution will provide all the cleanup gear, lemonade and snacks.
